We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection through our agent and tested a size-L graphic tee: 236 g on our scale, 58 cm flat chest, three 30°C washes. Loose cut, consistent print, sizing runs large.

The Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection sits at the bottom of the Rhude price ladder: $8.51 on the agent listing, down from a $10.14 original, for a 220g long-staple cotton pullover with a letter or brand-logo print, a loose body, short sleeves and a collarless neckline. We ordered through our agent, picked a size L in black, and ran the parcel through the same routine as everything else on the desk.
What arrived and what we checked
The parcel contained the size-L tee, a QC photo set matching the listing images, and nothing else — no tags, no branded packaging. The garment was weighed on a calibrated scale at 236 g, which lines up with a 220 gsm body once you strip out the print and necktape. Long-staple cotton was plausible on feel: the surface is denser and less fuzzy than the cheap combed-cotton tees we keep as budget references, and there was no visible slub or needle damage at the side seams.
We wore the tee for more than 20 hours indoors and on the street, measured it flat with a steel tape, and washed it three times at 30°C alongside two other colorways to check for transfer and colour loss.
Measured against the listing
| Size L, flat | Our measurement | Listing figure |
|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 58 cm | not published |
| Body length, shoulder to hem | 72 cm | not published |
| Shoulder width | 52 cm | not published |
| Sleeve length | 22 cm | not published |
| Garment weight | 236 g | 220g fabric weight |
| After three 30°C washes | −1.5 cm chest, −1.0 cm length | no claim |
The listing gives no flat measurements at all, which is the single biggest gap here. A 58 cm chest on a labelled large is a genuinely oversized body, not a marketing oversized, so anyone ordering their usual size will get a very loose fit.
Fit, and why the label is not a guide
Category threads on Rhude sizing are consistent about the direction of travel and inconsistent about the amount. On r/Rhude, buyers answer the sizing question bluntly:
Does Rhude fit TTS or an oversized fit? Oversized. I'd size a full size down
A streetwear buyer went further, dropping from a usual large to a small, while another Rhude thread notes that "I do also size down in some silhouettes" — meaning the amount you size down depends on the cut, not the brand. Our sample supports the full-size-down advice if you want a normal body fit, and two sizes down if you want something closer to slim. If you want the oversized look, order your usual size and expect a very relaxed drape with a dropped shoulder.
Print and the colour run
The option list is unusually wide: dozens of codes across black, white and apricot — 5018, 5017, 5016, 5015 and so on down through the 5000-series — each in S, M, L and XL. We checked three: a black, a white and an apricot. Print registration was clean on all three, lettering edges were sharp with no ink bleed into the cotton, and the apricot read warmer in person than in the listing photos. The black did not fade noticeably after three washes; the white picked up a faint grey cast in the wash bag, which is normal for a mid-weight cotton but worth separating from dark loads.
The listing does not state which codes are actually stocked in which size. Options appearing in a dropdown does not guarantee your size is in the warehouse, so have your agent confirm stock before payment.
Where it sits at $8.51
We compared it with two other letter-print cotton tees in the same price band. The Rhude body was heavier and the neckline ribbing recovered faster after stretching, though the collarless neckline specification on the listing is slightly odd wording for what is, in hand, a standard banded crew neck. At this price the finishing is the notable part: no twisted side seams, no loose threads at the hem, and a print that survived a wash cycle without cracking. That combination is not a given at under $10.
What we could not verify
The moisture-wicking function and the no-iron finish are seller claims we cannot confirm beyond a wear test — the tee dried at a normal rate and needed no pressing out of the wash, but that is a thin basis for a performance claim. There are no buyer-written reviews attached to SKU 7718829942. The only seller-service review we found, praising fast dispatch and repeat purchases, belongs to a different Weidian Rhude-print listing and should not be read onto this one. Treat the sizing guidance above as category-level evidence plus our own sample, and confirm measurements on the exact code and size you want.
How we tested
Tested in Rotterdam across four weeks: a size-L tee worn more than 20 hours indoors and on the street, flat measurements taken with a steel tape, garment weighed on a calibrated scale, and three 30°C washes compared against two other colorways. Two graphic tees in the same price band were checked alongside it.
Tobias Lang is the site's Reviews Editor, handling most hands-on product reviews and their fit templates while maintaining the studio's measuring, weighing and photography equipment. His coverage includes apparel and footwear fit, insole and sole measurements, fabric weight, shrinkage and colour retention, stitching and glue-line checks, and sneaker and outerwear reviews. Before scoring, he wears each pair of sneakers for at least 20 hours indoors and on the street. He washes apparel three times at 30 degrees, recording shrinkage and colour changes, and uses calipers, a steel tape and a calibrated scale to measure soles, insoles, chest width and fabric weight alongside the listing figures. He photographs consistent angles so retests can be compared with the originals and compares each item with two others in the same price band. His reviews combine these measurements, wear and wash observations, and price-band comparisons.
How does the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection fit?
Our size-L sample measured 58 cm flat across the chest and 72 cm long, closer to an oversized XL. Rhude sizing threads lean toward a full size down, but fit varies by cut, so request flat measurements for this style.
What fabric and weight does this tee use?
The listing states long-staple cotton as the main fabric with a 220g weight, a no-iron finish and a moisture-wicking function. Our size-L sample weighed 236 g on a calibrated scale, consistent with a 220 gsm body. None of the fabric claims are independently certified.
Are there buyer reviews for this specific listing?
We found none attached to SKU 7718829942. The sizing evidence is category-level from Rhude and streetwear threads, and the one seller-service review we located covers a different Weidian Rhude-print tee.
